Attorney Sharon Pope to present on March 5, 2011 at McLean, Simsbury, CT

Attorney Sharon Pope will be speaking about the importance of "Putting Your House in Order" on March 5th at McLean in Simsbury, CT. She will be co-presenting with Attorney Paul Czepiga who is also an Elder Law attorney in the Hartford area.

The presentation will address the following questions:

  • Do I have a valid power of attorney, recent health care directives, a will and do I have a living trust?


  • Are there any benefits which will pay for my care?

Attorney Sharon Pope to present at the 2012 Alzheimer's Dementia Conference

Attorney Sharon Pope will be presenting "Advanced Directives for the Caregiver" at this year's Alzheimer's Dementia Conference on March 27, 2012 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Rocky Hill, CT.

The presentation will address the following: What are advance directives and who should have these? This is a presentation on your rights to make health care decisions. The audience will experience a hands-on-demonstration on how to complete Advance Directors forms.

Attorney Pope Volunteers To Help Veterans

The Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center are working together to provide free legal services to Connecticut Veterans. Attorney Pope will volunteer her time to assist Connecticut Veterans on legal matters, specifically Estate Planning and benefits for Veterans.

Attorney Sharon Pope was invited to be the guest speaker at Connecticut Community Care Inc. on Friday, March 4. Over 40 case managers and CCCI staff were in attendance. Attorney Pope spoke about "Aging in Place" - financing home and community based care.
